Their Story
Jules and Doug met on Hinge. After a lot of texting, and some ghosting (be me), we finally got together for our
first date. We met at Legal Harborside in the seaport, bonded over lobster rolls and crab cakes, and the rest
was history.
Doug planned his proposal well in advance. His family was renting a house in the cape and he got down on one knee during a late morning walk on the beach.
The Wedding Day
Jules and Doug planned their dream wedding for October 2022 at Danversport. While they still had the wedding of their dreams, a very important person was missing. In September 2021, Julianne’s father, Jim, was diagnosed with cancer. They quickly decided to have a wedding a year early so Jim could walk Jules down the aisle.
