Words from the Founder of CKP:
Three years ago today I officially started CKP. In the beginning, it was all trial and error. I relied on my instincts and just hoped for the best. It has truly been the best, most challenging, yet rewarding three years.
The first few weeks after launching the CKP website, I would jump for joy just getting an inquiry. After a few months, I would come running in the house after work talking a mile a minute to Dave because I couldn’t contain my excitement over booking a wedding.
I will never forget when I received a message one day from someone that said, “I literally want to get married just to hire you for my wedding.” There were (and still are) a lot of late nights followed by early mornings, but every time we receive that message saying that something we created made someone so emotional and happy, it’s all worth it.
I also can’t say it enough— CKP wouldn’t be where it is today without Chris Shannis. His name was given to me after I booked my second wedding, so he has literally built this business and brand with me.
