Newlywed’s Reveal Biggest Wedding Regret

You hear people say it all the time– “Your wedding day will fly by, so enjoy every minute”. By having a videographer at your wedding, you will be able to savor every moment of the day you spent so many months planning. And you will be savoring that moment for not only yourself, but also future generations to come! (Read about when I discovered my grandparents wedding video!)

According to HuffPost, 35% of recently married couples wish they could go back in time to hire a videographer for their wedding. For some reason videography seems to be a last priority when planning a wedding. No one ever questions having a photographer, and while we don’t think video replaces photos, video offers something photos cannot. Photos can’t allow you to hear the voices or see the movements.

Whether you are having an intimate gathering or a glamorous, fairy tale wedding, your wedding is one of the best days of your life. So don’t you want the opportunity to relive the day as many times as you want? You will be able to relive every moment of the day–getting ready, your reactions to seeing each other for the first time, exchanging your vows, laughing at the toasts– for the rest of your life, you will have all these details captured.

It is our job as your videographers to look for candid moments and capture them. As the bride and groom, your day is so scheduled and busy; you will appreciate being able to see everything you missed while you were waiting to walk down the aisle or taking your formal portraits. Many couples not only wish they had hired a videographer, but many wished they spent more— you really can’t afford to not hire a wedding videographer!

We asked our friend who recently got married her thoughts on wedding videography:

I got married almost three years ago, and our wedding video is a piece of treasure. Our photos are a gem, but the video just brings me to tears year after year. My mom has shared it about 95 times with her friends, and still talks about it. I do not regret having a wedding videographer at our wedding. Even after years being married, we still sit down and watch it together because it brings back those moments you tend to forget. We find ourselves laughing about our nieces and nephews, who are now growing older and getting taller (almost as tall as me!); our dearest friends and families coming together dancing their tails off; and hearing the maid of honor speech. Hire a videographer for your wedding– trust me, you will not regret it!
