Michelle & Brendan’s Elegant Summer Wedding at The Commons

Michelle and Brendan’s wedding at The Commons was the perfect mix of elegance and heartfelt celebration. After more than a decade together, their day was filled with romantic details, beautiful blush and greenery florals, and so much joy surrounded by family and friends.

Their Love Story

Michelle and Brendan’s love story began back in 2010 at Westfield State University, where they first met through Michelle’s roommate (and bridesmaid!), Kristen. What started as a close friendship quickly turned into something more, and by their junior year of college, they were officially dating. After graduation, their relationship endured years of long-distance but once they were more established in their careers, the couple was able to start building a life together.

In October 2018, during a trip to Disney World with their best friends, Brendan planned a magical proposal. Under the lights of Cinderella’s Castle, he asked Michelle to marry him, making it a memory straight out of a fairytale.

The Wedding Day

On July 8, 2022, Michelle and Brendan celebrated their wedding at The Commons 1854, a venue they instantly fell in love with for its bright, welcoming atmosphere, stunning details, and incredible staff. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, their ceremony and reception reflected not just their love for each other but also their journey of growing, moving, and building a life together.

The couple chose a timeless color palette of greenery, white, and blush pink, paired beautifully with navy bridesmaid dresses and light grey suits. The combination created a romantic yet classic feel, perfectly complementing the elegant setting of The Commons.
