Dominique and Marie were married on November 16, 2019 at The Grand View, a stunning lakeside venue that perfectly fit their vision for a romantic and intimate fall wedding. Surrounded by the beauty of autumn colors and their closest family and friends, their day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Their Love Story
Their love story began back in April 2016 when they officially started dating. Both Marie and Dom had a feeling that someday they’d end up together, and they weren’t wrong.
Their double proposals were nothing short of magical—Marie said “yes” during a snowy beach proposal in Nahant planned by Dom, and a few months later Dom said “yes” during a surprise proposal Marie orchestrated on a trail in Maine.
These heartfelt, creative moments were a true reflection of the love and balance they share as a couple.
The Wedding Day
When it came time to choose a venue, they almost skipped their last tour at The Grand View—but the lakeside views and the intimate atmosphere won them over instantly (the gorgeous bathrooms may have helped seal the deal too!). It was exactly what they wanted: a setting that combined romance with warmth and authenticity.
Their wedding day was nothing short of emotional. From the letters they exchanged before their first look to their heartfelt personal vows during the ceremony, every moment felt deeply meaningful. The speeches from family and friends brought tears and laughter, and one of the most touching parts of the evening was when Marie’s dad sang during their dance together—a memory that will stay with them forever.
Of course, after all the tears and tender moments came the party—and Dominique and Marie made sure their guests had the best time celebrating. Their day perfectly reflected who they are as a couple: thoughtful, genuine, fun, and full of love.
