Samantha & Brian’s Rustic & Heartfelt Wedding at Peirce Farm
Some love stories never really end—they just pause until the timing is right. For Samantha & Brian, that pause lasted several years, but when life brought them back together, it was clear they were always meant to be.
From Teenagers to Forever
Samantha & Brian first met in 2006 through mutual friends and dated from 2007 to 2010. They were young and still figuring life out, and though they went their separate ways, the spark between them never truly faded. In January 2017, a simple Facebook message rekindled their story—and this time, it was forever.
They knew marriage was in their future, and with both of them in their early thirties, they decided on a fast engagement. In fact, they even started venue shopping before Brian officially proposed. Samantha had only two requests: she wanted someone there to capture the moment, and she wanted to be surprised. Brian delivered on both.
On a random Wednesday, while Samantha was showing her best friend and cousin around the venue they loved, Brian appeared on the back porch and dropped to one knee. The surprise was perfect—complete with tears, photos, and even video of the proposal.
Choosing Peirce Farm
For Samantha, Peirce Farm at Witch Hill felt like home. Her mom, who passed away in 2011, was from Montana, and she always dreamed of a barn wedding that carried the same rustic warmth Montana gave her. The house where she got ready reminded her of her childhood home, filled with touches of her mom’s style. It was the perfect mix of rustic, warm, simple, and just a touch chic.
The couple loved that Peirce Farm gave them the entire property for the day—making it the perfect space to celebrate their love story surrounded by family and friends.
The Wedding Day
Samantha & Brian aren’t big on being the center of attention—they’ve even admitted that if not for their families, they might have eloped at city hall. But on this day, with their loved ones gathered, the celebration felt just right.
The morning was filled with emotion as the couple shared a private first touch and exchanged their handwritten vows before the ceremony. The ceremony itself was the heart of the day. Samantha’s uncle, who received a one-day license, officiated with heartfelt words and humor—including a meaningful nod to Samantha’s late mom. Brian’s aunt read The Art of Marriage by Wilferd Peterson, and their nieces and nephews walked down the aisle as flower girls and ring bearers. A memory chair honored Samantha’s mom, making her presence felt throughout.
After the emotional ceremony, it was time to celebrate. Brian couldn’t wait for the live band, and it was extra special to have family there he doesn’t get to see often. The night was full of dancing, laughter, and the kind of joy that comes from two people who have truly grown up together.
For Samantha & Brian, their wedding wasn’t about being in the spotlight—it was about love, family, and honoring the people and places that have shaped their story. From the rustic charm of Peirce Farm to the heartfelt vows, personal touches, and a packed dance floor, their day was everything they had hoped for.
Congratulations, Samantha & Brian—your love story has come full circle, and your wedding was a beautiful reflection of that journey.
