Their Love Story

Their story began on the dating app Hinge, where a rainy weeknight first date at the original Eastern Standard turned a tough day for Lindsay into a night she would never forget. What was meant to be an hour-long meetup lasted three to four hours, setting the stage for a relationship full of love, laughter, and shared adventures.

Patrick’s thoughtful nature shone when he planned a special night to see Boston’s Christmas lights—a tradition Lindsay had always wanted to do. After months of anticipation and ring shopping, Patrick popped the question at a meaningful spot from one of their earliest dates. Celebrations followed at Grill 23, where the couple hosted their rehearsal dinner.

The Wedding Day

When choosing a wedding venue, Lindsay and Patrick were torn between Rhode Island, where Patrick previously lived, and Boston, where their love story began. After touring several Rhode Island options without finding “the one,” they visited three Boston venues in a single night. The Four Seasons Hotel Boston captured their hearts with its stunning park views, attentive service, and unique, vintage-inspired lobby. Although the hotel was under renovation at the time, the couple trusted the mock-ups and were delighted when the completed venue exceeded all expectations.

Their wedding day vibe was vintage, luxe, and romantic, with deep colors, rich textures, and thoughtful details throughout—from valet cards to cocktail stirrers and personalized napkins. The couple was most excited to marry each other and ensure their guests had an unforgettable experience.
