Their Love Story

Angela & Sameer first met at a mutual friend’s 30th birthday party at the Dark Horse Public House in Somerville, MA back in 2017. Sameer walked right up to Angela at the bar, and as they say, the rest was history. Fast forward a few years, and on a sunny spring afternoon, April 3, 2021, Sameer proposed on their rooftop overlooking the North End in Boston. With the city skyline as their backdrop, it was the perfect beginning to their forever.

When it came to planning their wedding, Angela & Sameer knew they wanted to be by the ocean. They toured several venues, but the moment they walked up the stairs into the Beauport Hotel lobby, they instantly knew it was the one. The combination of indoor/outdoor spaces, ocean views, and the ease of having everything in one place made Beauport the perfect choice for their celebration.

The Wedding Day

June 3, 2023, was a day full of emotion and excitement. With 117 guests gathered to witness their vows, the ceremony was deeply heartfelt—though not without a little drama. Just as the ceremony was about to begin, the fire alarm went off, and to top it off, it was pouring rain outside. But none of that could dampen the joy of the moment. When Angela & Sameer finally exchanged vows, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

From there, the celebration only grew bigger, bolder, and more colorful. Angela & Sameer designed their reception as a true multicultural wedding celebration, blending the traditions of a classic American ceremony with the vibrant energy of Indian culture. The ballroom was alive with color, music, and dancing—guests filled the dance floor all night long. To top it all off, Angela & Sameer wowed everyone with a choreographed first dance that set the tone for the party to come.
