Doug & Julianne’s fall wedding at Danversport was a beautiful blend of elegance, modern touches, and heartfelt memories. From their personal vows to honoring Julianne’s late father, the day was full of love, family, and one unforgettable celebration on the waterfront.

Their Love Story

Doug and Julianne’s love story began on Hinge. After some time texting– and maybe a little bit of ghosting– they finally met for their first date at Legal Harborside in Boston’s Seaport, bonding over lobster rolls and the Red Sox—a perfect start for a couple with strong Boston roots.

Knowing Julianne’s busy schedule, Doug carefully planned the proposal. His family rented a house on the Cape to celebrate his mom’s 60th birthday, and they convinced Julianne that the day’s surprise was for his mom. During a late morning walk on the beach, Doug proposed, and Julianne’s parents and extended family joined afterward for a celebratory cookout. It was a beautiful day, full of love, laughter, and family memories.

The Wedding Day

For their wedding, Doug and Julianne selected Danversport. They loved the waterfront location, the spacious room with high ceilings and a stunning chandelier, and the abundance of natural light. Their vision was simple yet elegant: white flowers with greenery, modern touches, and one big celebration with all of their friends and family.

A deeply personal and emotional part of their story came a year prior, on October 17, 2021, when Doug and Julianne had an intimate ceremony filmed to include her dad, Jim Corsi, who had been diagnosed with stage-four cancer. Jim, a former Red Sox player, wanted to walk Julianne down the aisle and share a dance with her, creating memories that everyone will cherish forever. Though he sadly passed away in January 2022 before their Danversport wedding, personal touches were included at the big day to honor him and celebrate his incredible legacy.

On October 9, 2022, Doug and Julianne exchanged personal vows at Danversport surrounded by loved ones. From heartfelt moments during the ceremony to a lively reception, the day perfectly balanced emotion, love, and joy. Guests danced the night away in a beautiful, elegant waterfront setting, celebrating a couple whose story is full of heart, humor, and enduring love.
